This guide was developed after a three-day international conference in Manchester, UK. It contains case study presentations from around the world, including USA, Brazil, Ecuador, Germany and the Philippines. There are workshop reports, which are distillations of discussion on areas such as sustainable resource management, environment and health, financial institutions and national sustainability strategies. Twelve UK workshop reports are also included. Finally, a number of speeches and statements to the conference by the participants are documented.
